Epic Games is well known for sending out surveys to Fortnite players quite frequently. These surveys are used to collect feedback about the game and improve it. Thanks to them, the game developer has made some significant changes to its most popular title. The latest Fortnite survey is very interesting and mentions big things, including another OG Season.
You can sign up for Fortnite surveys by enabling this option in Epic Games account settings. If you want to share your opinion with the game developer, enable this option and fill out the surveys whenever they come out.
The next Fortnite OG Season will likely come by the end of 2024
The first Fortnite OG Season was released in November 2023. Bringing the Chapter 1 map back was a great idea by Epic, and it resulted in an increased player count. The season reached a peak of more than six million concurrent players, which was impressive. Unfortunately, it only lasted for a month, but it ended with a fantastic live event.
According to the leaked Fortnite roadmap, Epic will bring another OG Season by the end of 2024. This time, however, the Chapter 2 map will be active. This will be another short season that will have a live event which will introduce us to Chapter 6. Due to this, it’s no surprise that the company asked for feedback about the OG Season in the latest survey.
These are some of the things that were included in the latest Fortnite survey:
- I want OG Season back
- I dislike changes to the UI (e.g. Locker, Lobby)
- Epic has added items to Fortnite that make it a worse experience
- I dislike the current theme
- I dislike the Battle Pass
- The game feels unbalanced
- I dislike changes to the Battle Pass
- I do not like changes made to how movement feels
- I dislike changes to the Map changes
On top of this, the survey includes questions regarding the loot pool, hit-scan weapons, cheating, and more. It seems that Epic Games is planning to make big changes with the release of Fortnite Chapter 6 later this year, so it will be interesting to see how players will fill out this survey.
While the player count is down in comparison to the last season, Fortnite is still dominating the gaming scene with millions of daily active players. However, this doesn’t seem to be enough for Epic, who will look to make another big comeback by the end of the year.
