The next chapter of Fortnite is going to be massive. While the launch of Chapter 5 focused on new modes, Chapter 6 will improve existing modes and features. On top of this, Epic Games will add a permanent OG mode, which is poised for success. This new mode will bring a new Battle Pass, called the OG Pass.
Epic recently announced more details about big changes coming with the upcoming chapter. The blog post reveals the addition of the OG Pass, as well as its release date, so let’s take a look at what’s coming to the game soon.
How much will the Fortnite OG Pass cost?
With the release of Chapter 6, the Fortnite Battle Pass will cost 1,000 V-Bucks. Epic will release two Battle Passes, one that will be used for a new theme and one that will be used for the OG mode. The 25-level bundle, which includes both the pass and levels, will be actually cheaper, as its price will go down from 1,850 to 1,800 V-Bucks.
Interestingly, you will be able to also buy a bundle of both Battle Passes and 25 levels for each, costing 2,800 V-Bucks. On top of this, Fortnite Crew will include both passes, as well as LEGO Pass and Festival Pass, while costing the same!
At the moment, we don’t know what will be included in the Fortnite OG Pass. However, Epic clarified that older Battle Passes will not return. This has been a rumor for a long time, but the game developer shot it down. The company revealed that the new pass will launch on December 6, and we will get more information by then.
Considering that we already had one OG Pass, we have an idea of what the next one might look like. It will most likely have remixed versions of iconic Chapter 1 skins, like Renegade Raider and Black Knight. Furthermore, each Fortnite OG season will last for approximately a month, which is why we expect smaller passes.
