The Fortnite OG Battle Pass is finally here. As many players are already aware, the new progression system brings fewer rewards. However, considering that Season 5 is scheduled to end in early December, this doesn’t come as a surprise.
The Season 5 Battle Pass brings four new skins and a couple of styles for them. Additionally, players may earn 200 V-Bucks for free by leveling up in the season or up to 1,000 V-Bucks with the purchase of the OG Pass. Unsurprisingly, Epic Games hasn’t changed the price of the new Battle Pass.

Is the new Fortnite Battle Pass cheaper?
The new Fortnite Battle Pass isn’t cheaper. It costs the same as it’s always cost, as each Battle Pass was priced at 950 V-Bucks. This comes down to approximately $8.50 after the latest V-Bucks pricing adjustment. The OG Pass is cheaper (in US Dollars) if you purchase one of the more expensive V-Bucks bundles.
Here are all the skins that have arrived with the OG Pass and how you can unlock them:
- Spectra Knight (Page 1)
- Lil Split (Page 2, Level 8)
- Renegade Lynx (Page 4, Level 22)
- Omegarok (Page 6, Level 38)
It’s important to note that the new Battle Pass has 1,000 V-Bucks that can be unlocked while leveling up. If you don’t purchase the OG Pass, you can get 200 V-Bucks. However, if you do get it, you can get up to 1,000 V-Bucks, meaning that you’ll essentially get back the V-Bucks you spend to purchase it.
The price of the Fortnite Battle Pass hasn’t changed despite the duration of the new season. Once Fortnite Chapter 5 – Season 1 comes out, the price will likely remain the same. However, the next Battle Pass should be bigger and contain 1,500 V-Bucks and at least seven skins.
