The next Fortnite season is scheduled to come out in mid-August 2024. Despite being more than two months away, Epic Games has already begun teasing it. This will most likely be the last season of Chapter 5. Once it ends, the Fortnite developer will release another OG season, which will last for approximately a month.

Once again, it appears that the leaked Fortnite roadmap is completely accurate. The latest hint points to another Marvel season, which is precisely what was shown in the roadmap.

The next Fortnite season will likely have a Marvel theme

Back in August 2020, Epic Games released Nexus War, a Marvel-themed Fortnite season. This happened in Chapter 2 Season 4, and many players enjoyed it. While the main complaint was about overpowered Mythic items, the Battle Pass had many fans. This doesn’t come as a surprise, considering it included many fantastic Marvel heroes.

Nearly four years later, it appears that Epic is planning on releasing another Marvel season. The game developer added several Rift Beacons on the map with the v30.10 update, hinting at Chapter 5 Season 4. These Rift Beacons first appeared in late Chapter 1, as they brought big changes to the map. During the Nexus War season, Epic used them to spawn Upstate New York, a Marvel-themed landmark.

The landmark had several interesting places, including Stark Industries. This is where players were able to fight against Iron Man, who dropped two Mythic abilities, including his gauntlets. While this hero may not be included in the next collaboration, we expect another impressive lineup of skins. Considering that the roadmap showed a Fantastic Four issue as the cover of the season, we can expect characters like Invisible Woman, Mr. Fantastic, and others.

It’s important to note that Epic Games hasn’t confirmed the theme of the next Fortnite season yet. However, if it turns out to be another Marvel season, we may get more Fortnite comics as well.

As we are still months away from Chapter 5 Season 4, you may want to unlock free Fortnite skins. If you are a fan of Rocket Racing, consider adding a free car to your collection. All of these free items will be available for a limited time, so make sure to get them as soon as possible.
