Fortnite leak reveals rarest collab skin is returning soon

Fortnite has released thousands of cosmetic outfits over its seven-year run and some of those hold the status of “OG” and “super rare” that only a handful of players own. Some outfits or skins, that were locked behind Battle Passes in the game’s earlier seasons like Omega and Drift are among those rare skins.

However when it comes to Item Shop skins, outfits like Renegade Raider, Travis Scott, and even Kratos are regarded among the rarest ones. Although one more skin that joined the list was Marvel’s Venom and Eddie Brock skin that hasn’t appeared in over 3 years.

But now a Fortnite leak suggests that can change quickly and here’s how.

Fortnitemares 2024 leak shows Venom and Eddie Brock skins returning to the item shop

According to data miners like HYPEX, the OG Venom, and Eddie Brock outfits were updated in the newest API files with v31.40 during Fortnitemares and are ready to return to the Fortnite Item Shop in the coming weeks.

Fortnite also announced with the release of its latest Halloween update that She-Venom and Agony skins will be released on October 24, but will also be available for free to top placement players in the Symbiote Cup to be held on October 22.

Once the skins become available in the shop, that is when data miners assume that Venom and Eddie Brock skins will hit the Item Shop as well due to the Venom 3: The Last Dance movie collab. The news of these rare skins caused a surge in community interest as players who’ve been waiting for the skins now will have a chance to get it.

“About time. I really hope people aren’t hyping up another Kratos situation,” said one such player. “Ending the Marvel season off with a bang love to see it,” wrote another.
