The next Fortnite season is around the corner, and Epic Games has prepared numerous new items with it. The season will also bring a new Battle Pass and map changes, and most of these additions were shown in the trailer. Furthermore, the latest Fortnite leak shows another item that will come next season.
The upcoming Fortnite item will be a game-changer, especially in Zero Build modes. In a way, it’s similar to the Armored Wall, a trap item that fortifies structures. However, this new item will not be a trap and will be editable.
The Fortnite leak reveals details about a new item
Shiina, one of the most popular Fortnite leakers, recently shared an interesting leak. The leaker claims that Epic Games will add a new type of Armored Wall with the release of Chapter 6 – Season 2. Interestingly, this item was not shown in the trailer, so we will have to wait for the season to come out before we can see how exactly it works.
According to the leak, this will be a standalone item and not a trap. This means that it will consume an inventory slot, similar to Cow Catchers, a popular item that was great for protection. Furthermore, unlike Armored Wall or Cow Catcher, the item will be editable. This will allow players to create openings, such as windows, to gain an advantage over their enemies.
The release of Fortnite Chapter 6 – Season 2 is less than 24 hours away, so we will soon be able to get our hands on this item. However, it will be interesting to see if it will be available in all game modes or only Zero Build. No matter how it functions, though, this new item is sure to shake up the meta and add another layer of strategy for players to explore.
