The members of the Fortnite community have been hard at work since it was confirmed the next Fortnite season will go wild in its next season, uncovering some key details on the new location.

It seems a brand new jungle biome will be at the center of the next season, giving the battle royale and its players a whole new battleground to consider when making their move – including dense trees blocking vision, and much more. Epic Games has been teasing the new biome with little glimpses to the game’s official social media account, and the community has stitched the images together to get a good look.

Redditor NomNomNomNation put together the image by combining the posts from each of the various official language accounts for the game. This was later backed up by popular Twitter source FitzyLeakz who provided a much clearer picture (literally) of the area. Fans have now already worked out where the location might appear on the map.

A user by the name of Overly_Fertile_Dude points out: “from the red tree you can see in the top right corner, I deduce that the biome will replace Shattered Slabs and its surroundings.” As some point out though, it’s not the location a lot of players expected it to fall, given Mega City was added earlier this chapter to the southern half of the map too. “If the second half of the map has MEGA and this new biome, the snow zone and cidatel will be more boring than ever.”

And right on cue, a new short clip has now been dropped by the official Fortnite Twitter account showing off more of the new biome, and teasing that it might have more to reveal – potentially taking players underground with the caption “Cracked, but not broken. Overgrown, but not forbidden. Lost, but not forgotten. What lies underneath the surface?”

Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3 Wilds looks set to launch this weekend, given the Chapter 4 Season 2 end date has been set for later this week on June 9. Other leaks have also pointed at this season including a tie-in with the upcoming Transformers movie.
