You can get Jack Sparrow skin in Fortnite early, but there’s a catch

Jack Sparrow has finally come to Fortnite…sort of. The popular Pirates of the Caribbean character was added to the game with the v30.20 update on Saturday. Besides him, two other characters from the franchise arrived, as well as a new event pass. Interestingly, Epic Games made a mistake by releasing the pass to the Item Shop, giving players a chance to purchase it ahead of its release.

The game developer quickly patched this issue, removing the Jack Sparrow skin from the game. However, it is still possible to obtain it, although there is a catch. Considering that the Fortnite x Pirates of the Caribbean collaboration will come out on July 19, it’s no surprise that some players are impatient and want to get the skin as soon as possible.

It’s possible to get the Jack Sparrow skin early in Fortnite

Epic accidentally released the Cursed Sails Pass to the Fortnite Item Shop on Saturday, allowing players to buy it. The pass was available for a brief period before the game developer removed it. Fortunately, players who purchased it have kept the Jack Sparrow skin, although the rest of the pass is not available at the moment.

Shortly after the removal, the community found another way to get the Jack Sparrow skin early in Fortnite. This method involves using a Discord bot, which is somewhat risky and certainly not recommended.

To use the method, you need to join a Discord server that has a specific bot, such as the AK Facility. After that, you need to interact with the AK bot and purchase the hidden item through it. During this process, however, you also need to log in to your Epic Games account. Due to this, we don’t recommend you use this method. While the bot has been safe so far, giving it access to your account is certainly not a great idea.
