In Fortnite Battle Royale, choosing the right weapon can make a huge difference. Whether you’re a fan of shotguns or snipers, it’s crucial to strike a balance between weapon classes and rarities in your inventory. Among all the items a player carries, a consumable item is a must that can help replenish their shield or health before they charge their enemies again.

Each Fortnite season introduces a new consumable item that players can get around the island which helps them and their teammates heal. For instance, the newly added Juice’s Chug Cannon not only heals shield or health but also gives an anti-gravity effect in Chapter 2 Remix.

However now that this OG season comes to an end, Fortnite is introducing a type of consumable item that has never been seen before in Chapter 6.

Fortnite Chapter 6 will introduce Sprites as new consumables

The upcoming Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1 has already been highly anticipated among players ever since a gameplay trailer was leaked, right before the official cinematic was dropped on social media. The trailer showcased a new interactive Slurp Bubble type of item called Sprites which come in two types – Blue and Grey.

The blue sprites are water-based, which means they’ll most likely heal players while in water with a shield using its Slurp Juice power, and the grey sprites are air-based and are rumored to provide health to players using the power of foliage items.

These can be deployed by a player in an area where they and their teammates can heal together while the cute sprite creature jumps around. However, it is still unclear where would players be able to find these items on the island.

Regardless, the community sentiment around the new season is quite positive as it’s also bringing new movement mechanics that are set to change the gameplay entirely.
