Epic Games has released hundreds of Fortnite updates over the last six years. Since the game came out in 2017, it’s received a lot of new content, and that won’t change anytime soon. According to Donald Mustard, Epic’s Chief Creative Director, the company is working on jaw-dropping content.

Mustard, unfortunately, won’t be there when the new content comes out. The game designer announced that he’d be retiring from his role at Epic Games this month. However, he also decided to post one final teaser before he leaves.

In his retirement tweet, the game developer said that Epic Games was in the right hands. He added that the team is working on “huge, jaw-dropping, amazing things,” although he didn’t reveal the specifics. However, we may have an idea of what Mustard refers to.

According to leaks and rumors, Epic is working on an open-world mode for Fortnite Chapter 5. Each chapter of the video game has brought something unique, and the new mode sounds like a real game-changer.
