Epic Games has released many free Fortnite items over the past few weeks. These items are obtained through various methods, but the easiest way is getting them through the Item Shop. Unfortunately, many free items expire in less than 24 hours and they may never return to the game.

Two weeks ago, Epic released the Celebration of Women event in Fortnite. Besides featuring several impressive islands created by women, the company also released five new cosmetics to the game for free. Obtaining them is very easy and simple, but that can only be done for a limited time.

Here’s everything you need to know about these free items.

You can get these free Fortnite items only today

On September 29, Epic Games released five new cosmetic items to the Item Shop. Some of these look amazing, especially a new emote and wrap. The best part is that it’s very easy to obtain them. To do so, you need to open the Fortnite Item Shop and grab these items.

Here is a list of the free items that are currently available in the shop:

  • Banner Icon
  • Heartburst Emote
  • Winner’s Heart Spray
  • Reinvention Wrap
  • Hearts Up Emoticon

As Epic clarified earlier, these items will be available until October 9. Due to this, they will likely rotate out of the Item Shop at the next reset at 8 PM Eastern Time. Considering that these items are part of an event, they may never return to the game again. It certainly won’t be surprising if they soon make the list of the rarest Fortnite items of all time.

Besides these five free Fortnite items, the video game also released another free skin. Unfortunately, the skin can’t be obtained from the Item Shop. Instead, players who want to get it will have to join the Refer-A-Friend program and complete a couple of tasks in it.
