Delulu mode has been very successful in its first week. Epic Games released it last Thursday, allowing content creators to try out its early access version. A day later, everyone received access to the new game mode, which turned out to be a big hit for the game developer.

What makes this mode unique is the addition of proximity chat. Essentially, everyone who wants to play it has to enable chat. The mode has only been active for four days, as Epic disabled it on Monday. However, it will return over the weekend, and it will be better than before!

How to play with your Fortnite squad in Delulu mode?

The first version of the Delulu mode did not allow players to team up and win together. Players who queued together were put in the same lobby, but not on the same squad. After that, players had to find each other and use special emotes. However, winning was only possible as a solo player. Fortunately, that is no longer the case.

With the release of the v37.11 update, Fortnite made winning possible in squads. This means that the next time you play, your victory will count regardless of whether you win as a solo player or with your teammates.

Winning as a solo player was quite frustrating, and many players resorted to using glitches to get the special victory umbrella. However, this will no longer be necessary, as the game mode will now reward everyone with a proper squad victory.

Epic Games will bring back the Delulu mode on Friday, September 26. Once again, the mode will stay active over the weekend. Considering its popularity, Delulu may become a permanent mode in the future, although this may not be the best move.
