Epic Games is constantly looking for ways to improve Fortnite and add new features to it. The video game has drastically changed over the past seven and a half years, which is a testament to Epic’s hard work. Considering that the game is still popular, with millions of daily active users, the developer won’t stop adding new content to it anytime soon.

It appears that one of the upcoming features will drastically improve cosmetic items in Fortnite. On top of this, millions of players should get new cosmetics for free!

On Tuesday night, Epic Games began processing another V-Bucks refund. Players who purchased the Rap Boy Reloaded skin and Air Jordan 3 SE Unite Kicks were given a one-time refund of 1,000 V-Bucks, which was a pleasant surprise. This move makes a lot of sense considering that the outfit already has the Kicks equipped.

While the refund was nice, what comes in the future is even better. The refund indicates that Epic will soon allow players to use the Kicks equipped with skins on other outfits. For example, if you own a Maya skin from Chapter 2, you will be able to use her boots on other skins in your locker. In other words, Kicks will be similar to back blings, as they will be interchangeable among skins.

It’s worth noting that Epic has only teased this feature and has yet to fully confirm it. With the next Fortnite update set for March 25, the developer may either introduce the feature or share more details about it. Epic has stated that over 95% of skins will support Kicks by Spring 2025, and this new feature would further enhance them.
