Fortnite Chapter 6 will bring a whole new map and unique biomes! The map was showcased in the trailer for the new season, and Epic Games revealed it during the last event. If you participated in the Remix Finale event, you likely caught a glimpse of it. If not, the new map is less than 12 hours away, and we can’t wait to try it out!
In this article, we will take a look at the new Fortnite island. The map certainly looks promising, and it will be interesting to see how it will change throughout the new chapter.
Fortnite Chapter 6 map was revealed during the event
The latest Fortnite event featured a 15-minute concert by Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Ice Spice, and Juice WRLD. Several other artists, like Travis Scott and Rihanna, were also part of the event. On top of this, Epic Games had references to a few events from the past. At the end of the Remix Finale, we also got an early look at the island that will come with the next season.
The Chapter 6 map was shown at the end of the Fortnite event, right after Juice WRLD’s performance. The screenshot above shows the new map and its unique terrain.
Some parts of this map were previously leaked, and we have also seen certain parts in the trailers. However, this is the first time that we saw the map in its entirety. The upcoming island looks similar to the one used in Chapter 2. However, it seems that it has more mountains and a unique biome that was never seen before.
Fortnite Chapter 6 is scheduled to come out at 2 AM Eastern Time. The release will be followed by a longer downtime before we can finally access the game and try out the new map.
