With Chapter 6 arriving in early December, Fortnite players have a lot of new content to look forward to. Some of the upcoming features have been leaked or revealed by Epic Games, making the community excited for the future of the game Hypex, the most popular Fortnite leaker, recently shared a unique map change that will come with the new chapter as well.
For now, we know that Epic will release a new Fortnite island for Chapter 6. However, we don’t know what exactly it will look like. The latest leak reveals an upcoming POI that will have a never-seen-before feature.
New Fortnite leak shows a unique POI coming with the next chapter
Hypex claims that Epic is working on a new Chapter 6 biome that will work differently from what we’ve seen so far. According to this Fortnite leak, the new island will have a special forest biome with a new day/night mechanic. It will spawn different animals or NPCs based on the time of the day, which will likely turn it into a popular landing spot.
Earlier this month, the veteran leaker posted that Fortnite Chapter 6 will have “cat-like” animals. They will have different types, such as air or water, as well as unique expressions. At the moment, it’s unknown if these animals will be friendly or hostile. However, there is a good chance that they will spawn in the dynamic POI at certain times of the day.
While these additions will certainly be amazing, Epic will also add Chapter 1 back to the game. This way, players who prefer older content will be able to play it, while also having access to new stuff. According to leaks, Chapter 1 will have both classic and Zero Build versions, which will allow players to experience the first-ever map in a new way.
Fortnite Chapter 6 is scheduled to come out on December 1, while Chapter 1 will return by the end of the year.
