Fortnite Chapter 4 – Season 4 has brought many changes to the popular video game. Epic Games unvaulted many Mythic items with it, but some of them have been rather disappointing. Due to this, the development team released a couple of buffs, making these weapons much more effective.
In total, Epic buffed four weapons with the latest Fortnite update. However, the update has also brought a couple of nerfs. While these balance changes may not get positive reactions from the community, the truth is that they make the game much better and fairer.
Here’s everything you need to know about the update and all the Fortnite buffs it brought.
Four Fortnite weapons were buffed with most recent update
Fortnite now has many Mythic weapons that can be found in three vaults over the island. Despite the Mythic rarity being the highest rarity in the game, some of these weapons have been quite ineffective so far in the season. Fortunately, this may no longer be the case.
The latest update has brought these buffs:
- TNTina’s Ka-Boom Pow: Charges, reloads, and recharges faster
- Zyg and Choppy’s Ray Gun: Charges and fires faster
- Havoc Suppressed Assault Rifle: Deals more damage and shoots faster
- Gunnar’s Stinger SMG: Deals more damage and has a reduced recoil
While these weapons will be much more effective from now on, others won’t be as good. A couple of Fornite nerfs have also arrived with the update, as Epic Games reduced the effectiveness of three items.
The Foundation’s MK-Seven Assault Rifle now deals less damage and has a slower fire rate, while Slurp Juice is rarer. The Sticky Grenade Launcher, which was added earlier this season, also has a slower fire rate. Epic made the explosive weapon less effective by extending its reload time and removing the delay when switching between two launchers.
The next Fortnite update will likely come out on Tuesday, September 26. The update may bring more Fortnite buffs and nerfs, but also a lot of other content, including the Ahsoka Tano skin.
