Epic Games has released numerous Fortnite nerfs and buffs over the past few years. The battle royale game keeps changing, yet some players still haven’t accepted this. While balance changes are good for the game, many players complain whenever the game developer releases them.

The latest weapon balance changes came shortly after the release of the v26.10 content update. The update added several big things to the game, including a Fortnite birthday event. However, Epic Games pushed even more changes with the intention to make the game balanced.

Unfortunately, a fan-favorite item was affected by these changes, which is not something many players are happy about.

Latest Fortnite nerf affects three items, including the MK-Seven Assault Rifle

With the latest hotfix update, Epic Games changed seven items. Three of these were nerfed, including the Mythic MK-Seven Assault Rifle. The fan-favorite weapon was arguably the best in the game in Chapter 4 – Season 4. However, that may not be the case anymore.

After the update, the Mythic rifle now deals reduced damage and shoots slower. Considering that the weapon was incredible and much better than any other item in the game, it’s no surprise that Epic nerfed it. However, many players have complained about this change as they believe that the rifle should have stayed powerful.

The weapon debuted in Chapter 3 – Season 1 and was obtainable by eliminating The Foundation. At the moment, the only way to get the weapon is by visiting one of Kado Thorne’s vaults. Despite the Fortnite nerf, the Mythic MK-Seven Assault Rifle is still powerful and is a great choice for every stage of the game.

Besides the weapon, Epic Games also nerfed the spawn rate of Slurp Juice and made the Sticky Grenade Launcher less effective. The explosive weapon now has a slower fire rate and a longer reload time. On top of that, it is no longer possible to switch between two launchers without a delay.

TNTina’s Ka-Boom Pow and the Mythic Raygun now charge faster, while Epic Games also buffed the Havoc Suppressed Assault Rifle and the Gunnar’s Stinger SMG. Both of these weapons now deal more damage, while the SMG is also much easier to control due to decreased recoil.
