It’s no secret that Blitz Royale has been the most popular Fortnite mode since its release. Epic Games hit the jackpot with this fast-paced mode, as it now has millions of daily players. In fact, the mode has attracted more players than any other game since its launch.

This popularity has resulted in Epic extending the mode to August 12, as it was originally planned to last only until July 15. However, the game developer is now considering turning it into a permanent mode. This is something many players have asked for, and there is no doubt that it would be the right move for the company.

Will Blitz Royale become a permanent mode in Fortnite?

Fortnite recently acknowledged that many players asked for Blitz Royale to be permanent. The company made a post on X (formerly Twitter), asking fans what else they want to see in the game mode, from new POIs to more collaboration items. Unsurprisingly, most players voted for new places, as they are eager to see map changes in the future.

Blitz Royale is not only fast-paced, but it also gets new content every week. In other words, the loot pool changes every seven days, which makes the game mode even more fun. As long as this is the case, there is no doubt that the mode will be very popular and continue having millions of active players every day.

It appears that Epic Games has big plans for Blitz Royale, which is why we expect it to stay at the top of the leaderboard for a long time. After all, who doesn’t like getting a Victory Royale in only five minutes?

The company is currently on a summer break, so the next Fortnite update will arrive in mid-July. While unconfirmed yet, this might be the update that makes Blitz Royale permanent.
