Epic Games has announced that jetpacks will be added to Fortnite’s Battle Royale incarnation in the near future.Â
Users logging into the game today were greeted with a brief menu (via PC Gamer) confirming the next slew of updates for the game, which features a jetpack icon set against a gold background, something which is typically reserved for legendary gear.Â
Right now Epic is keeping mum on any further details on Fortnite’s jetpacks, though it does promise the feature is ‘coming soon.’ Still, we don’t even know right now if it will hold any actual in-game value or if it’ll just function as a cosmetic item.
Fortnite’s latest update included a Hand Cannon among other goodies, while the shooter recently stomped all over PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds’ concurrent player record on Steam.
