Buying a Fortnite Battle Pass comes with numerous benefits. By leveling up, players can unlock eight skins along with more than hundred of other rewards. On top of this, it’s possible to earn up to 1,500 V-Bucks from it. Another big benefit is the limited exclusivity of the Battle Pass rewards. More specifically, items included in the pass cannot be released to the Item Shop, at least not within 18 months of their release.
On Thursday night, Epic accidentally released a Battle Pass item to the shop. The item is the Runamok Jam Track, which can be unlocked on the ninth page of the current seasonal pass. Fortunately, the Fortnite developer quickly fixed the issue.

The current Battle Pass was released on February 21 and will be active until early May. While passes are no longer exclusive, Epic Games will not release the items from them anytime soon. To be precise, cosmetics from the Chapter 6 – Season 2 Battle Pass may come to the Item Shop starting fall 2026, but not before that.
With the last reset of the Item Shop, the game developer accidentally released a Runamok Jam Track from the current pass. While it can be unlocked on the ninth page of the pass, the item cost 500 V-Bucks in the store. However, Epic quickly fixed the issue, removing the track from players’ lockers and refunding the purchase.
Everyone who purchased the Jam Track had it removed from their lockers. On top of this, V-Bucks spent to purchase the item were fully refunded. This was not the first time that Epic Games release a Battle Pass item to the shop and probably won’t be the last. However, the developer has always reacted quickly, refunding purchases and removing the items.
