Final Fantasy XV’s Episode Duscae demo will be updated to version 2.0 in early June, Square Enix is reported to have announced. The update was previously believed to be targeting a release later this month.

Translated by Gematsu, the 2.0 update will reportedly include enhancement’s to the demo’s battle system, camera and combat, with other features also said to be “under consideration”, including support for full native 1080p and an improved frame rate.

Final Fantasy XV: Episode Duscae was originally included with all day one copies of Final Fantasy Type-0 HD, offering players an early taste of what to expect from the next major entry in the series.

A release date for the full game has yet to be confirmed, but expect to hear more during Square Enix’s E3 press conference next month.
