A playable demo that allows players to experience the opening sections of Final Fantasy XV will release on PS4 and Xbox One next year, according to a report.
The report, which was posted by Game Informer but later removed, allegedly stated that access to the demo will be available to those who pick up a copy of Final Fantasy Type-0 HD, the upcoming HD remaster of the original PSP game.
Type-0 HD is reportedly due for release in North America on March 17, although it’s yet to be confirmed whether the FFXV demo will be available the same day. It also isn’t clear whether the demo will be accessible by other means.
A Square Enix representative declined to comment when contacted about Game Informer’s article.
A release date for Final Fantasy XV has yet to be announced.
