At Tokyo Game Show, a new trailer for Final Fantasy VII Remake was released, and it showed off the new looks for familiar characters with a few clips of gameplay and minigames.
President Shinra lords over the trio as a hologram, and along with the other members of the Turks, Reno is looking much cooler than his original cubic iteration. Don Corneo darkens our doorways once again, and there's a reference to the infamous cross-dressing scene. Biggs and Rufus check in, the gym minigame has been updated, and summons were shown off too. Midgar looks incredible; all the while the dynamic, reimagined combat system delivers strategic yet high-octane action. But, the most important moment has been left til last.
Cloud is a frog for a bit, and wields a frog-sized sword.
