The two month delay for Final Fantasy 15 won’t enable Square Enix to manufacture additional units of the limited edition Ultimate Collector’s Edition, the publisher has confirmed on Twitter.

You’ll remember that the first run on the Ultimate CE sold out before many fans had the chance to place an order, with some pointing to scalpers as the reason for missing out. Square Enix eventually announced 10,000 more units would be manufactured, though these also sold out.

The news came via Twitter as part of a fan Q&A with director Hajime Tabata and art director Tomohiro Hasegawa. The same Tweet confirmed that the £189.99 CE would not include the recently announced Season Pass, which Square Enix made very clear would feature all-new content, not simply content cut from the main game.

Pre-order Final Fantasy 15 on PS4 or Xbox One ahead of its November 29 release to receive a promotional code to access the ‘Mage Masher’ and ‘Camera Set’ DLC packs(?)
