FUT Ballers is the most recent promo in FIFA 23’s Ultimate Team, but it is a bit different to what we have come to expect from promos in the past. Instead of releasing cards into packs, like we have come to expect from a FIFA Promo, the Ballers are released as SBCs that you can then complete challenges with to upgrade them.

So far there are only Premier League players in the Promo, but that doesn’t mean there won’t be more down the line for different leagues.
The first FUT Baller card released was Luis Diaz of Liverpool so we are going to dive into just how you get his card, how you upgrade it and if it is worth the hassle.
How to Get FUT Ballers Luis Diaz?
In order to get the base FUT Ballers Luis Diaz you will need to complete his SBC. The SBC requirements are:
- 83 Rated Squad
- Minimum of 1 Player from Liverpool
After completing the SBC you will receive his 86 rated card, that can then be upgraded into an 88.

The SBC will cost just over 30,000 coins if you’re completing it using money, but the chances are you probably have the resources in your club to complete it.
How to Upgrade FUT Ballers Luis Diaz?
The 86 version of this card is decent, but getting this card to an 88 is why you’re really here. In order to upgrade your 86 Luis Diaz you need to score a finesse goals in 5 separate matches with the 86 Luis Diaz in either rivals or Squad Battles matches on Semi-Pro.
Is FUT Ballers Luis Diaz Worth It?
If you are in desperate need of a Premier League left winger then Diaz will be a great option for you. He is really quick, can finish well and his dribbling is immense, but his card is let down by his passing.

There are definitely much better cards you can get on the left hand side, but this will be a great stop gap until you can afford one of the better ones as it will do the job. The best FUT Ballers are still yet to come.
