Ultimate Team was first introduced in the March of FIFA 09, this event has no other theme than that, but in the past it has always been full of interesting special cards. Special cards that change up things like the weak foot and skill moves of players, and often moving their positions.

We are still unsure on if Icons or Hero Cards will feature in this promo, they normally don’t but this is the first year they have ever been included in promos in the game. Here is everything we know so far about the FUT Birthday event, including release date and predictions.

We are just a few hours away from the release date of the FUT Birthday event. It is set to release on the 24th of March, looking at the leaks below this could be the best promo yet.

FIFA 23 FUT Birthday Release Time

Like all the other content in FIFA 23, it will be released at  6PM GMT / 1PM ET / 10AM PT. This is when all the new content drops in FIFA and FUT Birthday will be no different. There normally is daily player SBCs for FUT Birthday too.

So far we have seen a few leaks for the upcoming FUT Birthday event in FIFA 23, including some amazing Icons that are set to come out in the game. FUT Birthday often gives players skill move and weak foot boosts so we should expect a lot of very well rounded players on this event.

FIFA 23 FUT Birthday Predictions

There have been very few leaks for this promo, so we are completely winging it, but that is also part of the fun. So we are gonna have a crack at trying to predict who may come, the FUT Birthday event is a challenging one to make predictions for though, just because FIFA gets quite creative with the cards. 

• ST, Cristiano Ronaldo (Al Nassr/Portugal) – This one may not seem particularly creative, but it’s Cristiano Ronaldo, a player who has had few specials in FIFA 23. He was in last years though, so he may not feature. 
• CAM, Declan Rice (West Ham/England) – Making a juiced up, attacking version of Declan Rice would be a lot of fun and he hasn’t had many specials yet this FIFA, whilst West Ham players often feature in promos.
• CB, Romelu Lukaku (Inter Milan/Belgium) – There is always one striker who gets converted into a defender in FIFA FUT Birthday. We think Lukaku is a good choice for it this year, especially considering he hasn’t had too many specials.
• CAM, Carles Gil (New England/Spain) – The MLS has been getting a lot of love in recent promos, so it would only make sense this trend continues. 

There will be plenty more too, these are just a few suggestions. Last year there were over 30 players released during this promo, so there should be something for everyone.
