FIFA 13’s first title update has been delayed, EA Sports has confirmed.
The title update, which was set to fix the infamous Career mode freeze bug, had been due to roll out onto consoles over the weekend, but was delayed after a “knock-on issue” was discovered prior to its release.
EA Sports apologised for the delay, but has yet to announce an updated release date.
“We apologize for a delay in the FIFA 13 Title Update,” EA Sports wrote on Twitter. “A knock-on issue was detected in the patch planned for this weekend so it was held.
“We’re working with our partners to establish a new schedule for the update and we will provide information as soon as it becomes available.”
FIFA 13 users have reported multiple issues with the game since its release late last month, including stability problems in the game’s Online Seasons mode and additional issues within FIFA 13 Ultimate Team.
