It’s not December yet, but EA has already given us an early Christmas present! The leaks had been rumbling, but it is now officially confirmed. UEFA EURO 2024 will be coming in FC 24!
There are a few ways in which the tournament will be celebrated, both in-game and on the pro circuit. Much like we saw with the World Cup celebrations in FIFA 23, this should be a big release for FC 24 Ultimate Team!

FC 24 x UEFA EURO 2024
EA Sports has announced that UEFA EURO 2024 will be coming in FC 24! Players across FC 24, FC Mobile, and FC Online on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, iOS and Android devices will be treated to the international tournament.
Coming as a free in-game update in the summer of 2024, UEFA EURO 2024 will be available to all players. Its release will coincide with the tournament kicking off.
“We’re delighted to announce that one of next summer’s biggest football tournaments will be fully integrated across EA SPORTS FC titles,” said David Jackson, Vice President of Brand for EA SPORTS FC. “Alongside our fantastic partners at UEFA, this exclusive Euros content will enable EA SPORTS to continue delivering the most authentic and innovative football experiences for our fans.”
As with the World Cup in FIFA 23, we should see the EURO 2024 tournament come as a separate game mode in the title. Expect to see it celebrated in Ultimate Team too! Extended promo events will likely cover the campaign, with boosted items and Live cards that upgrade throughout the weeks.
On top of that, EA Sports will be the official platform for UEFA’s eEURO esports program! This is a new tournament that will feature Europe’s best FC players, where they represent national football teams.
The eEURO tournament will be an annual event starting in the summer of 2024. It will consist of qualification stages, leading to a live final to decide the winner!
Free Ultimate Team player item
As part of the EURO announcement, a free gift will be issued to FC 24 users! All you have to do is play the game by January 16, 2024, to earn an exclusive, untradeable Ultimate Team player item.
The six European stars included in the UEFA EURO 2024 Ultimate Team offer are:
- Jack Grealish – England
- Ousmane Dembele – France
- Federico Chiesa – Italy
- Florian Wirtz – Germany
- Virgil Van Djik – Netherlands
- Alvaro Morata – Spain
Fans on console and PC will be able to claim their item on December 18. If you are on FC Mobile, you can obtain it straight away, starting November 23!
