Ubisoft has shown off more than a hour of Far Cry 6 gameplay running on the Xbox Series X in a new video.
The footage came in a presentation by the Ubisoft North America YouTube account, which saw the game’s narrative director Navid Khavari providing insight aplenty. We get a good look at how you’ll liberate the game’s El Este Region. The gameplay also includes a showcase of some of the many improvised Resolver weapons. How about a revolver shield combo that doubles as a back-mounted missile launcher? Absolutely.
We also get a lovely preview of some the latest entry’s Fangs for Hire. The animal companions this time around include Chorizo the wiener dog, Guapo the crocodile, and even Chicharrón the rooster. All of whom you’ll eventually be able to call upon to provide help during your revolution.
Not every animal will be used in combat either, as you’ll also be able to ride horses. That’s if they’re not too busy riding the game’s other vehicles, some of which we get to see here too. You can check out the full one-hour plus Far Cry 6 gameplay footage for yourself below.
In case you need a refresher, last week we got a new story trailer for the game. There’s not too much longer to wait, as Far Cry 6 launches on October 7 for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC.
