Ubisoft has published a behind the scenes documentary on the making of Far Cry 6.

Entitled Revolución: A Far Cry Story, the thirty-eight minute video takes fans behind the scenes of Ubisoft Toronto. It includes interviews and stories from some of the key minds behind the game, including narrative director Navid Khavari.

The documentary includes insight into the making of the game as well as personal stories from the developers. We also get historical insight and a look at actor Giancarlo Esposito’s work as Anton Castillo. The documentary even covers how the team dealt with the global COVID-19 pandemic throwing the production into chaos.

Here’s a quote on the documentary from Navid himself. “It was thrilling to launch a massive game to millions of people around the world, but we had no idea, when we started development, that we would be shipping a game during a pandemic, and it changed everything. We went from thriving in the buzz of a state-of-the-art studio in Toronto to finding solutions to unique problems we never thought we’d face, in the quiet of our homes.  Watching this back, it was great to be able to come together in what was a personal project for all of us.”
