Far Cry 5 isn’t just about religious nut jobs and blowing stuff up with an exorbitant amount of firepower. Okay, so it’s mostly that, but thanks to the game’s map editor, there’s a boatload of creative mayhem you can tap into as well.
Someone has obviously been hard at work in this respect, having managed to cobble together a pretty awesome-looking recreation of the Baker mansion from Resident Evil 7: biohazard. You can’t explore the creepy abode yet, but it at least looks the part and allows you to have a potter around the surrounding woodland — even the Sewer Gators’ abandoned van is present.
Far Cry 5 is available now on PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One, and you can pick up Resident Evil 7’s Gold Edition for the same platforms complete with all available downloadable content.
In case you missed it, Colm took quite a shine to Ubisoft’s latest open-world adventure game in his review. Resi 7’s also a bloody good romp and a triumphant return to form for the franchise, although admittedly I enjoyed it a bit more than Alice.
