Fall Guys to get a Creative Mode in Season 4 next week

Mediatonic has unveiled what’s in store for Season 4 of Fall Guys with the news that it’ll be introducing a Fall Guys Creative mode with its newest update.

The Season as a whole will be entitled Season 4: Creative Construction, and will be headlined by a brand new in-game level editor that will allow players to create their own custom rounds in the madcap battle royale gameshow hit. Players will be able to select a mode for their round – for example a Race round – and a theme from which to build their courses from. They’ll be able to place platforms, obstacles, decorations and pretty much build levels with similar flexibility afforded to the developers.

To that end, the team has been using the new Creative tools to make over 50 new Rounds that’ll drop over the course of the new season with 20 of them at the season launch. Of course, once players have made their own levels, they’ll be able to save them and share them with friends, and Mediatonic will be curating Playlists of the best custom levels on a regular basis for the whole Fall Guys community to enjoy. The Creative mode isn’t the only change for Season 4, as the Fame Pass is getting some tweaks too. Rather than last a whole season, they’ll now be shorter – but cost less and, the developers say, offer “more reward for your playtime”. The first of these at launch will include six Costumes – including Does Not Compute and Low Poly Guy Costumes – for you to earn, plus bonus costumes and cosmetics to earn even after completing the main levels of the pass.

Epic Games say they’ll reveal more details about the new season in the run up to its launch, and you won’t have to wait long for that. Fall Guys Season 4 will arrive on May 10 in the free-to-play game, which is available on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC.
