According to sales figures compiled by NPD Group, Lionhead and Microsoft’s Fable II, the Xbox 360 exclusive RPG, sold 790,000 units in the US during the month of October.

Fable II managed to beat the likes of Wii Fit (487,000 units), Fallout 3 – Xbox 360 (375,000 units), Mario Kart Wii (290,000 units), Wii Play (282,000 units), Saints Row 2 – Xbox 360 (270,000 units), SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs Confrontation (231,000 units), LittleBigPlanet (215,000 units), NBA 2K9 – Xbox 360 (202,000 units) and Dead Space – Xbox 360 (193,000 units).

It’s worth taking into account that LittleBigPlanet’s 215,000 units were achieved with only a few days of availability at retail.

Notable absentees to the Top 10 include Wii Music, Guitar Hero: World Tour and Rock Band 2 – PS3.
