Microsoft Game Studios has announced that Fable II is to be released across the UK on October 24, three days following the game’s October 21 debut. The game will be released throughout the rest of the world in the months that follow.
Before the retail release of Fable II gamers will have the opportunity to begin earning gold by purchasing the Fable II Pub Games on August 13. The game will cost 800 MS Points and features the casino-style pub games, “Fortune’s Tower,” “Keystone” and “Spinnerbox”. Gold earned in the XBLA title can be carried across into Fable II.
In addition to the standard edition of Fable II a Limited Collector’s Edition will also be available through participating retailers.
