Sony has announced that three new titles coming out this month will be getting the PS4 Pro enhancement. In a post on its PlayStation EU blog, Sony said that F1 2017, Agents of Mayhem and Sine Mora EX would see a varying number of graphical and performance enhancements on their release. Some of them look much better than others.

Codemasters F1 2017, launching on August 25, will see a nice resolution boost courtesy of checkerboard rendering up to full 4K resolution at 3840×2160. Alongside this will be the implementation of high dynamic range (also known as HDR) to give the game’s colour palette a lovely boost. Even better news is that the game will run at a super smooth 60FPS, because framerate is king, especially for racing games where response time is so important..

Volition’s upcoming August 15 game, Agents of Mayhem, is said to maintain a full HD presentation. It’ll also receive a visual boost, boasting increased level of detail and a four times increase in anisotropic filtering. This means increased texture detail and visual quality, in short. Agents of Mayhem also supports HDR and will run at 60FPS, which you kinda expect. It’s not exactly a graphical powerhouse.

THQ Nordic’s, Sine Mora EX is a deluxe edition re-master of the PS3 side-scrolling shooter. Making the jump to PS4 has brought a number of improvements such as native 4K  resolution, running at 60FPS with 16:9 widescreen support. But there have been a number of game experience additions, including improved graphical rendering, full English voice overs, local 2 player co-op in the story mode, three new versus modes and more that make this an excellent definitive edition of the enjoyable PS3 and PS Vita shoot em’ up.
