Uruguayan director, Fede Alvarez, who has recently seen his stock gain value after completing work on the Evil Dead remake, has expressed his desire to create a film based on Valve’s Half-Life franchise.
“I really want to make a Half-Life movie at some point,” Alvarez told Yahoo. “But I’d heard it was impossible because Spielberg wanted to make it.”
He added: “That’s definitely one that I’ve always dreamed of making into a movie though.”
JJ Abrams has previously talked about working with Half-Life, but it’s not clear if such a project would ever get made.
