It’s time to get excited over what may well end up being nothing. Nintendo of America has re-filed the Eternal Darkness trademark, as it did a few months ago with Luigi’s Mansion. Does this mean a motion control enhanced version of the survival horror game is in the works, or even a brand-new entry in the series?
The trademark confirms nothing, but Nintendo hasn’t announced any games in its New Play Control series in a while. Currently old GameCube games including Pikmin, Donkey Kong Jungle Beat and Mario Power Tennis are available with new motion controls, and with a Nintendo media summit next week perhaps a few new announcements aren’t out of the question.
