Bandai Namco has responded to fans to address a number of Elden Ring technical issues players have flagged up since the RPG’s launch today.

As per the message on the publisher’s website, the team will focus on four key items in coming updates. They include reports of mouse control being too sensitive in the PC version, making the Tarnished harder to control. There’s also an issue of the game’s Easy Anti Cheat not launching on Steam for certain usernames. In both of these cases, the company says it is aware and will be issuing a patch “in the near future.”

Elsewhere, the publisher also addresses framerate and performance issues. It says “We will be constantly working to improve the game so that it can be played comfortably on various PC environments and platforms”. The studio also recommends that PC players update their graphics card drivers to the latest version.

Finally, the studio addresses a nasty bug that seems to corrupting save data on the PlayStation 5 version. Apparently, this issue most frequently occurs when the console is turned off unexpectedly while in Rest Mode. Bandai Namco say a fix is being worked on. However, they advise players in the meantime save their game manually until it’s released.

The first patch released yesterday for Elden Ring, which you can read about here to address some pre-release issues. If you’ve not checked out our review of Elden Ring just yet, you can fix that by going over here.
