Elden Ring Nightreign release time map countdown for PS5, PC Steam and Xbox

Elden Ring Nightreign is a unique opportunity to return to the Lands Between, and, in our review, we praised the experience as a “a giddy and moreish co-op rush”. The game was originally dreamt up during development of Dark Souls 3, and it is now finally set to come out. Here you will find the release date and time countdown for exactly when Elden Ring Nightreign will come out on PS5, PC Steam, and Xbox.

Elden Ring Nightreign release date

The release date for Elden Ring Nightreign is May 29th or 30th depending on your platform and region.

It is available on PS4 and PS5, as well as Xbox One and Series X/S, and for PC it is on Steam. Unfortunately, there is no crossplay for the experience. This means you won’t be able to play with friends on a different platform to yourself ala PlayStation teaming up with Xbox. However, there is the ability for PS5 users to play with friends on the PS4, and same for Xbox Series X/S users with friends still on Xbox One.

Another unfortunate is that, despite the original Elden Ring experience coming to Nintendo Switch sometime in 2025, Nightreign is not coming to the Switch nor is it announced for the Switch 2.

When does Elden Ring Nightreign come out?

The release time for when Elden Ring Nightreign will come out is 3PM PT/6PM ET/11PM BST on May 29th. These are the launch hours for the game on PC via Steam.

As for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, the release time is 9PM PT on May 29th, as well as 12AM ET/12AM BST on May 30th. All these launch hours are confirmed courtesy of a release time map shared by FromSoftware.

The good news is that you can preload the game 48-hours in advance on all systems, which will allow you to step foot into the Lands Between the second the game unlocks.
