The release date for Elden Ring Nightreign is just over a week away. The original experience is an absolute masterpiece and is arguably FromSoftware’s magnum opus despite their portfolio consisting of Dark Souls and Bloodborne. Soon players will be able to return to the world of The Lands Between, and, ahead of launch, the Elden Ring Nightreign preload date and download file size has been revealed for PlayStation.
Elden Ring Nightreign preload date and download file size
PlayStationSize has just revealed on X that the preload date for Elden Ring Nightreign on PS4 and PS5 is May 28th. This is typical as PlayStation usually allow games to be downloaded 48-hours before launch.
The download file size is reportedly 21.176GB for PS4 and 21.156GB for PS5 as of update 1.01/1.001.000. The included artbook and soundtrack for the deluxe edition weighs in at 738MB.
To be able to preload, you will need to pre-order. Below are the prices and pre-order bonuses for the available editions via PSN store:

Aside from PlayStation, Elden Ring Nightreign will also be on Xbox for Xbox One and Series X/S, and it will also be on PC for Steam. It will not be on the Nintendo Switch, and it has not been announced for Switch 2 either.
The release date for Elden Ring Nightreign is May 30th. Unfortunately, no preload details have been announced for either Xbox or PC as of writing. If you are planning to play on PC, below are the minimum and recommended system requirements listed on Steam:
