EA is yet to officially announce the next game in the Dead Space franchise, but work is definitely being done – why else would the publisher be hiring staff to work on the franchise?
Job listings have appeared which confirm EA is looking to hire a senior development director, audio director and senior VFX artist to work on the Dead Space franchise. “This is a major opportunity to greatly contribute to an exciting unique franchise,” the job ads state.
Dead Space 2 hit stores in January this year, earning a solid 8/10 in our Dead Space 2 review, so whatever is next for the series is likely to be some way off. Developer Visceral Games has also worked on Dante’s Inferno – a sequel to which could well appear before Dead Space 3.
