EA has agreed terms with Respawn to release “new Titanfall experiences”, paving the way for future sequels.

The publisher announced the deal during its financial briefing last night where CEO Andrew Wilson explained: “EA is continuing its partnership with Vince Zampella and the Respawn Entertainment team, building on our success in delivering Titanfall, the biggest interactive entertainment event of the year so far.

“Through a new publishing agreement, we’ll be working with Respawn to bring new Titanfall experiences to players worldwide.”

COO Peter Moore added that the original Titanfall had sold 925,000 units in the US during its first three weeks on sale.

Back in March, a Polygon report stated that the sequel would not be exclusive to Microsoft platforms, suggesting that the series could come to PlayStation 4.

Titanfall’s first map pack ‘Expedition’ is due to launch later this month.
