The forthcoming Need for Speed: Shift will use a progression system based around the player’s driving personality, EA has revealed.

Via the Driver Profile feature, NFS: Shift will assign the player with a unique personality based upon their skills and driving style. Gamers will then be able to earn points by carrying out certain actions in accordance with this persona. Aggressive drivers will be rewarded for ramming and trading points with other cars, while “clean” racers will get bonuses for avoiding their rivals.
