MySims begins with players creating their own toy-like Sim that reflects their own personal style and attributes. Pig-tails and baseball caps to dreadlocks and Mohawks, the options are there to create a really unique Sim.

In MySims players will move to a delightful but disorganized town where they can shape everything to make it their own. Using a selection of building blocks, unique patterns and engaging creativity tools, players will be able to design furniture and appliances – even new homes and businesses.

The town is home to a number of long-time residents such as the always-busy Mayor Rosalyn P. Marshall and Buddy, the lazy hotel Bellhop. The player will soon have to choose which residents they wish to help out: build a restaurant for the local Italian Chef or help a health-conscious resident set up his Yoga studio.

The player will always be on the look out for new items to build, be it a new pizza oven or a new roof for a busy hotel. With each completed task the town will grow; as it does new building blocks, decorations and patterns will be made available.

We want MySims to provide a creative play experience like never before on a video game system,” said Executive Producer Tim LeTourneau. “By giving players the tools to create literally any kind of world they want in MySims, we’re reinforcing the idea that the players create the magic. Will the town support a plethora of spooky, mysterious townsfolk – or buzz with the laughter and smiles of fun-loving Sims? It’s your call! In MySims, what players make… makes all the difference!

MySims is scheduled for release for Wii and Nintendo DS in autumn 2007.
