Dreams, the PlayStation 4-exclusive create-'em-up from LittleBigPlanet developer Media Molecule, will be going into Early Access this spring.

The game has been in development for quite some time now, and recently wrapped up a beta period that resulted in a number of interesting user creations. Remember the Dead Space and P.T. stages? Yep, those were all made in Dreams.

Dreams' Early Access period will see a 'strictly limited release,' Media Molecule says, and will cost $29.99 via the PlayStation Store when it launches this April. It'll be accessible in the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Austria, Benelux, France, Switzerland, Italy, Germany, and Spain.

'With Dreams, our ambition from the start was to put all the tools needed to make games in one accessible package – and allow players to make their creative mark on the world from their living room,' commented Siobhan Reddy, studio director at Media Molecule.

'We want community to be able to create in a way that is fun, fast and expressive and see where they take it next.'

One interesting thing to note is that anyone who participated in the beta will be able to access their creations in Dreams' Early Access edition, which is good to know. You won't have to worry about an NDA this time around, either.

Dreams has been a long time coming. Sony announced the project during its E3 2015 press event, and the beta was initially scheduled to arrive in 2016 before being pushed back numerous times.
