Media Molecule has confirmed that the Early Access period for Dreams will kick off on April 16.

Dreams' Early Access will offer up a sizeable chunk of content, though it won't feature everything seen in the final game. Media Molecule notes that the game's story mode will be a big part of that, so we'll have to wait on that one.

You will, however, get your mitts on a 'full tool set for creating, our interactive tutorials and arcade games, templates and additional content.' The Dreams Early Access will set you back £24.99, so if you want in, you just have to hit up the PlayStation Store and splash the cash.

While a release date for the full version of Dreams remains elusive, Media Molecule has confirmed that your creations made during Early Access will carry over to the final version.

Pleasingly, you will also gain access to the full version of Dreams by way of an upgrade for the Early Access edition, meaning a second purchase is not required.

PlayStation VR support is not featured in Early Access, but it's still planned for the final version of the game, so that's good to know.
