Media Molecule has confirmed the release date of creative suite Dreams via a new trailer shown during today's State of Play broadcast.

In the trailer – which you can see below, a smogasboard of impressive creations made in the software are shown, before announcing that the game will indeed be releasing on February 14 2020, as previously leaked in a premature announcement by e-retailer ShopTo

Until then, players who took part in the game's Early Access period are being encouraged to vote for their favourite creations to win the game's first 'IMPY Awards' which will be handed out by Media Molecule to creators and creations deemed to be the best of the best in a range of categories – with the award ceremony taking place on January 26.

Dreams will release exclusively on the PlayStation 4 – you can check out the release date announcement trailer for yourself below.
