iOS and Android drawing app, Draw Something, which had been dominating the download charts, is showing big signs of decline. The game has fallen from approximately 14.3 million active users on April 2 to 10.4 million users on May 2.
Developer OMGPOP was acquired by social gaming giant Zynga in March for around $210 million, at which point the game seemed unstoppable – in April Zynga announced that Draw Something had been downloaded 50 million times.
10 million active users certainly isn’t bad, but the worry for Zynga is that the bubble has completely burst and that users will continue to rapidly decline. Personally, I still play Draw Something on a daily basis. How about you?
