Capcom has confirmed that criminally overlooked fantasy romp Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen is coming to Nintendo Switch.

Dark Arisen is the name given to the expansion for Dragon's Dogma, so you get the whole package on Switch. Furthermore, Switch owners will be able to take advantage of sharing Pawns online, which doesn't require you to sign up for Ninty's online service.

Aside from that, it's Dragon's Dogma as you remember it. Choosing out of nine vocations, you explore a sprawling, evocative world known as Gransys while scrapping with all manner of fantastical beasties, including Hydras, griffins, and dragons.

Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen is due out for Switch on April 23.

The game was originally released on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox One back in 2012, with the Dark Arisen expansion arriving the following year. Dragon's Dogma was later bundled alongside its DLC for PS4 and Xbox One back in autumn 2017, and it's this version that will be coming to Switch.
