Bandai Namco Games is adding Cooler to Dragon Ball FighterZ, the publisher confirmed during Evo 2018 over the weekend.

For those out of the loop (i.e., me) Cooler is the central baddie from the film Dragon Ball Z: Cooler's Revenge, and is basically a steroid-induced version of his little bro, Frieza. He's also King Cold's oldest son, which gives him a lot of clout.

Bandai Namco has yet to confirm when Cooler will be available to break some backs, but until then there's always base Goku and base Vegeta to keep you busy when they arrive as DLC on August 8.

Dragon Ball FighterZ arrived in January on PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One, and is probably one of the better scrappers you'll play this year

Switch owners will also be able to get in on the action later this year, and there's also going to be a beta for Ninty's console this month to give you a taste of the brawler prior to launch.
